This walk will be from Toombul Railway Station to Mitchelton Railway Station.  The western side of Toombul Station is the non-Sandgate Rd side.

This is the latest replacement walk for Minnages Mountain, which had to be postponed.  The earlier replacement, Mt Mitchell Track, is now closed because of the bushfires to the north of Brisbane.  (Thanks to Peggy for alerting us!)  Other southern viable options at Binna Burra, O’Reillys and Tamborine are all on this year or next year’s calendar, so are best avoided this weekend.

We did this part of Kedron Brook in 2017 on Remembrance Day.  It is pretty walk and the day won’t be too long.  The track is a cement bike path through parkland, except for a short road walk. The walk should be quite  pleasant.

There is a #369 bus from Mitchelton Station at 6 minutes and 36 minutes past the hour, to take us back to Toombul at the end of the walk.
